Knewton Math Readiness provides personalized instruction to help every student succeed.
Knewton Math Readiness is a flexible developmental math solution built on the Knewton Adaptive Learning Platform. Aligned with Common Core State Standards for grades 6-12, the course takes the pain out of scaling an effective math solution for large populations of on-campus, online, and nontraditional students.
Highly engaging and featuring robust reporting features, Knewton Math Readiness can be configured as a stand-alone course or as a supplement to an existing curriculum in blended or fully remote learning environments.
Traditional developmental math courses are plagued by low student engagement and high rates of withdrawal. By targeting each students’ individual skill gaps while letting them work at their own pace, Knewton Math Readiness quickly and effectively helps students where and when they need it most. A reporting dashboard gives instructors a deeper understanding of each student’s progress, ensuring no student slips through the cracks.
As students work through course material, they can either pass out or place into a given lesson. Lessons contain multiple types of learning items (videos, text, quizzes, and more) and engage students with real-world examples. Instructors can view class lists to see which students are off-track, search for individual student performance metrics, or view trends across an entire group of students to determine which concepts are problematic across the board. These tools allow instructors to optimize class time by focusing lessons around those concepts with which students need the most help. Success can be defined by grade or by completion.
