You needn&#039;t ALWAYS write 3 examples in the GMAT essays, but we do strongly suggest that you do. These essays don&#039;t ask us to re-invent the wheel in terms of writing. Instead the test just wants us to construct solid arguments. The best way to do that is to make an assertion (thesis), and then back it up with 2-3 supporting points (body paragraphs). We should never use fewer than 2 examples, or more than 3.
