Adimab
Adimab offers the first fully integrated yeast-based human antibody discovery and optimization platform. Got that? Basically, Adimab’s platform accelerates and lowers the cost of pharmaceutical research. The platform can be applied to all kinds of diseases. Adimab is already working with major pharmaceutical companies to speed up their research and development process.
Why it’s cool:
Pharmaceutical research is pricey and slow. Adimab’s platform kills both these birds with one stone. Whereas much of the technology required for pharmaceutical research is prohibitively expensive for all but the biggest companies, Adimab’s platform is cost-effective enough to be accessible to the whole industry. But that’s not all–in many cases, the platform will also allow treatment development time to be reduced from several years to several weeks. Now that’s what we call progress.
