Spotify

What they do:

Spotify is a legal way to obtain music that works across lots of different hardware platforms (unlike Apple’s iTunes, for example, which limits users to one platform). Through Spotify, users can find and stream music for free–as well as create playlists and share songs with friends.

Why it’s cool:

Most people don’t want to steal music–but do it because it seems like the easiest option. Spotify provides a legal, easy-to-use alternative.
