Average Texas A&M Business School GMAT Score
While there is no GMAT cut-off for the Texas A&M Business School, you should be familiar with the general range of GMAT scores at the school:
Mean GMAT score:
- 646
Median GMAT score:
- 645
Middle 80%:
- 580-720
If you want to be competitive at Texas A&M, you should try to score 640 or higher and no lower than 580, though it is possible to gain acceptance with a lower score. While no GMAT score will technically exclude you from consideration for admission, a low GMAT score could raise a red flag.
Ultimately, the entire package matters (GMAT, work experience, application essays, interviews, recommendations, and undergraduate GPA). Since you are applying for business school, work experience is important. Upon enrollment, the average amount of work experience for each student is approximately 4.5 years.
You should also consider the brand of the school. Texas A&M offers an exceptional and supportive faculty, a tight-knit class with a great deal of camaraderie, and a unique academic calendar (the program is a year and a half long) that most students find beneficial to their career search. During the interview and in your essays, you should be prepared to articulate how you will contribute to the community.
I hate to say it, but Knewton has rendered every other test prep company totally obsolete.
