Web Marketing Director

  • 2 years minimum consumer-facing SEM & SEO experience
  • Email marketing, blogger outreach, link-building experience
  • Lives in or will relocate to NYC
  • Very smart, focused, and hard-working
  • Savvy about core technologies such as html, client/server, hosting, mail protocols and spam filters
  • Some basic coding in php, perl, client-side script or other languages helpful

Content Developer

Knewton content developers write and edit educational content in a collegial, intellectual, and hardworking atmosphere. Right now, we're writing test questions based on released GMAT, SAT, LSAT, and GRE material, as well as clear and concise explanations for these questions. Some of the proprietary elements that make our eLearning platform uniquely effective also impact our question-creation process, so content development at Knewton is more rigorous and challenging than it is anywhere else.

We're looking for excellent writers and editors with experience in test prep content development who can quickly adapt to our system and immediately begin contributing meaningfully to our body of content.

UI Engineer

We are looking for a UI Engineer with XHTML, XML, CSS and JavaScript expertise to collaborate with our User Experience Designers and Web Engineers to build an awesome educational platform.

Required skills:

  • Proficiency with Javascript libraries such as jQuery, YUI, or PrototypeProficiency with AJAX and RESTful design
  • Ruby on Rails experience
  • Familiarity with CSS for table-less layouts and DOM manipulation
  • Ability to write semantic XHTML markup
  • User Interface design experience
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic
