What you’ll need to do
If you’ve taken the LSAT before, then your highest previous LSAT score will serve as your baseline score. If you haven’t taken the LSAT yet, you’ll take a diagnostic exam inside the paid course to establish your baseline before you access any other classes or practice problems.
In order to qualify for the guarantee, you must:
- Complete at least five (5) PrepTests within the Knewton course
- Attend all twelve (12) class sessions, either live or on demand
- Complete all required homework for each session

After taking a Knewton LSAT course and taking the LSAT, if you don’t improve by at least 5 points and want to claim a refund, simply send us a copy of your score report. We’ll check your course history to make sure you did the required work, and if you qualify, we’ll issue a refund.

- How long does it take to complete the course?
- Most of our class schedules run 6 to 8 weeks. You can follow along live, or watch a mix of live and on-demand lessons. If you want to work at your own pace, you can follow the course completely on demand, too.
The bottom line: You can work through the course as fast as you want. As long as you do the work, we guarantee the results.
- How does the guarantee work?
- Simple. If you do the work and don’t gain at least 5 points on your score, we’ll refund 100% of your course fee. We’ll ask for a copy of your official score report (directly from the LSAc), which we’ll compare to your previous score (if you have one) or your first Knewton PrepTest.
- How do live classes work?
- Log in from any computer and learn from a top-tier LSAT instructor. Chat openly with your teacher and classmates during class, or ask private questions to the teacher for one-on-one feedback. It’s like having a private tutor throughout class.
- What if I miss class? How do on-demand classes work?
- Past classes are accessible from our on-demand archive. It’s a great resource for catching up on missed classes or checking out a lessons from different teachers. Plus, on-demand sessions are valid forms of attendance toward the money-back guarantee. Watch as many of them as you want.
- Do I need books? Does it come with any books?
- Nope. All the classes and practice problems are online, including the Create a Quiz generator. This enables us to track your work and provide you with custom reporting on your progress—automatically.
- Is Knewton a new company?
