Basics
Every person you refer gets a friends-only discount toward any test prep course (GMAT, LSAT, SAT), and if you're an active or former Knewton student (or become one later), you'll also get $50 for each valid referral. Your personal dashboard makes it easy to send and track referrals, and you can pick your rewards—Amazon gift cards, a donation to the Make-a-Wish foundation, good old-fashioned cash, and a whole lot more!
Use the same email address for your Knewton account and referral account (powered by TellAPal) so we can sync up your rewards. Refer as many friends as you can muster, but you must be an active or former Knewton student to redeem your rewards. If you're not a Knewton student yet, feel free to rack up as many referral credits as you want; we'll release them once you enroll in and start one of our courses.

What's the benefit of referring someone if I'm not a customer?
Give your friends a sweet discount toward guaranteed improvement! Just by referring someone, you'll give them a friends-only discount off the full price of any of our test prep courses. In addition, you help us spread the word, and you never know—we might find a way to recognize your good karma after all.
How do I receive Rewards?
After clicking the Refer a Friend link, you will be asked to set up an account where you can send out referrals and check in on the status of your Rewards. For every friend you refer who then purchases through the link you provided, you will receive a $50 Reward. Currently, you can receive Rewards via PayPal, Amazon gift card, iTunes gift card, or make a donation to the Make-A-Wish foundation. More Reward options may become available in the future.
Can I refer more than one person and receive Rewards?
Absolutely! For every qualified friend you refer who then enrolls and starts a Knewton course, you are eligible to receive Rewards. In fact, you can post your referral link on your blog, tweet it on Twitter, or share it on any social networking site in addition to emailing your friends. This way you can reach more friends who might be interested, and ear more Rewards!
Why hasn't my Reward moved from "pending" to "earned?"
Your Reward is pending if your referral has enrolled in a paid course. Once he or she starts a course, your Reward will move from pending to earned—but only if you are have also enrolled in and started a course. If you have not yet started your own course, you may continue earning referral credits, and they will switch to earned once you have enrolled in and started a course.
When will I receive my Reward?
After your friend has enrolled and started his or her Knewton course, please allow up to one month for your earned reward to be processed.
