BETT 2014 Recap: Adaptive Learning in Tomorrow’s Classroom

Posted in Knerds on February 6, 2014 by

The Knewton team had a blast checking out the 30th annual BETT Show in London this year. The UK-based Knewton team was joined by a few Knerds from our NYC headquarters to catch up with old friends, meet new innovators in education, and explore emerging technology for the classroom.

Charlie (Director of Business Development at Knewton and Co-Head of Knewton’s London office) gave a presentation at BETT, describing how adaptive learning technology can improve student outcomes and empower educators. In case you missed it, you can relive the fun:

A special shout out goes to Knewton partner Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, which featured demos of Personal Math Trainer Powered by Knewton at the conference. We’re proud to help HMH provide K-12 students with a more personalized learning experience. Personal Math Trainer Powered by Knewton is part of Houghton Mifflin’s flagship GO Math! program, and is the first K-12 product to combine HMH content with Knewton technology.

We met a lot of new faces, including educators, administrators, students, policy makers, publishers, and education technology companies from around the globe, many who were enthusiastic and curious about how adaptive learning technology can help students reach their full potential. We hope to stay in touch so please drop us a note at if you’d like to continue the conversation!
