I spent my childhood in Istanbul, Turkey. The bridge between Europe and Asia, Turkey is well-known for its ancient civilizations, rich cultural heritage, bustling cities, and delectable cuisine. Turkey is now also a global leader in the ongoing transformation in digital education.
Today, Knewton is proud to announce our first partnership in Turkey with the innovative e-learning and publishing company, Sebit. This partnership further demonstrates the rapidly increasing global interest in adaptive learning. You can find the official announcement here.
Sebit will begin by integrating Knewton adaptive learning into its U.S.-based product and five time CODiE award winner, Adaptive Curriculum. The Knewton-powered Adaptive Curriculum, which provides math and science lessons for grades 5-12, will provide content recommendations for what to study next and predictive analytics for students and teachers in school districts implementing transformative 1:1 initiatives.
Soon after, Sebit will integrate Knewton technology into e-learning solutions worldwide. In addition, Sebit — which already pioneers nationwide deployments across Latin America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East — plans to work directly with Knewton and Ministries of Education around the world to deliver this adaptive content at a national scale.
Sebit is a known innovator, continuously finding new pedagogical approaches to assimilating knowledge and skills. Products like Adaptive Curriculum leverage a content library filled with Activity Objects, Animations, and Interactive Models.Students might determine chemistry formulas using musical notation, or learn ratio and proportions by helping “Andre the Painter” paint his house. Now Sebit’s next-generation educational content will not only be interactive, but also personalized for individual students. Sebit’s wide variety of pedagogical frameworks and content types will help Knewton continue to evolve our data models.
We’re thrilled to integrate Knewton technology into Sebit’s world-class products, and to improve learning outcomes at a global scale.
Sebit and Knewton are both at the Microsoft Partner in Learning (PIL) Global Forum in Barcelona, Spain this week. Stop by our booth to say hi!
