Gutenberg and Knewton Launch First Platform for Adaptive Mobile Apps

Posted in Adaptive Learning on October 2, 2014 by

Today’s publishers increasingly recognize the importance of creating mobile, interactive, and personalized learning apps. But it’s not always easy for them to continue to create and develop high-quality content while also devoting resources to these complex tasks.

Gutenberg Technology (GT), a Knewton partner, has created a solution to that problem. The GT application, which launches today, serves as a one-stop shop for education publishers.

The app provides publishers a user interface and content management system, and is integrated with Knewton adaptive learning technology. Publishers using the GT application can easily add adaptive features, including individualized, real-time recommendations for instructional and assessment materials; predictive analytics that allow students to monitor their proficiency; and a personalized study center for each student. GT’s content authoring tools, MyEcontentFactory 5.0, can be used at the same time to create high-quality text, multimedia, and interactive content.

We’ve been working closely with Gutenberg Technology since partnering with them at the end of 2013, and we’re excited to see this app come to life.
