The Twitter Guide to the CES Higher EdTECH Summit

Posted in Knerds on January 9, 2012 by

HigherEdTECH is coming up next week (Wednesday, January 11 to be exact). Heading to Las Vegas, or just want to keep up with the action? Check out our Twitter list of feeds to follow here (tweet us @Knewton if you’re attending the conference and would like to be added).

Part of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) that runs from January 10-13, the one-day HigherEdTECH Summit aims to “bring education into the epicenter of new technology.” The HigherEdTECH Summit capitalizes on CES’ diverse audience of almost 150,000 educators, media, tech, and government leaders to “break down the insular nature of EdTech by mixing leaders” from multiple fields, and “remove discussion of technology use from the ivory tower.”

Knewton Founder and CEO Jose Ferreira will be participating in a panel at the Summit entitled “Educators and Entrepreneurs: Next Generation Partnerships,” along with Greg Tobin, the President of Higher Ed Math at Pearson Education, and four other panelists. Greg and Jose will discuss, among other issues, how partnerships like that between Pearson and Knewton are helping to increase the adoption of new technology, and what opportunities and challenges such partnerships present.

Want to see what HigherEdTECH speakers are saying about the Summit? Below, we’ve listed the Twitter feeds of the speakers, broken out by session.

Note: This is not an exhaustive list of speakers or sessions. The listings include only speakers who had publicly findable Twitter feeds. Consult the official agenda for information about all the sessions and speakers. If you are speaking at the summit and would like to be included, please leave a comment or tweet @knewton.
