WIZARD Plus app launches today technology to offer personalized English language training for Brazilians
NEW YORK – September 26, 2014 – Wizard, a leader in professional and language teaching, and leading adaptive learning company Knewton, today launched WIZARD Plus in Brazil that offer students of all ages more personalized learning materials as they master a new language.

WIZARD is Brazil’s leading English language learning business, which Pearson acquired in December 2013. The Knewton-enhanced WIZARD Plus course will be used in WIZARD learning centers across the country, enabling Brazilian students of all ages to access personalized assignments and learn English in a way that suits them best. Wizard Plus includes a tablet app to be used in the classroom, a website with complementary and personalized exercises as well as a mobile app for extra practice.
Wizard is using Knewton technology to personalize the WIZARD Plus blended learning course to help improve learning outcomes. As students progress through the course, anonymized data is analyzed to figure out what each student knows and to recommend what they should study.
