Considering alta? Here are some examples of what you can expect from us when you choose to adopt.
Let’s talk about your course and build a plan together to ensure you’ll be set for your first day of class.
Should you use a Learning Management System, we’ll work directly with your LMS administrator to ensure seamless and secure integration.
Hands-on or virtual, and as many times as you want or need, you and your team will learn how to get the most out of alta as it relates to your course goals.
Prior to your class, we’ll build your course and together, we’ll review your course created in alta to ensure it’s set up to meet your needs.
We’ll join your first day of class to deliver speedy training directly to your students, or provide you with materials to deliver to the training directly.
You’ll get the most out of alta when using in-app analytics that reveal how your students are struggling or succeeding as you proceed throughout the term. Our staff will touch base with you regularly to share insights and recommendations to make sure that you’re getting what you need, as you need it.

Step 1: If relevant, integrate alta with your learning management system
If you’re using alta with an LMS like Blackboard, Canvas or D2L, please make sure integration has been set up by your campus administrator. We can help!
Step 2: Schedule a 1:1 Knerd consultation
Whether it’s to discuss how to use alta with your class or go over specific tools and functions, we can help you address any questions before your first day of class.
Step 3: Add alta to your syllabus
Don’t forget to add details about your alta course to your syllabus, so that students know what percentage of their overall course grade will come from their work in alta.
Step 4: Let students know where to buy
Your students will get the best deal by purchasing directly through this site. However, if you’re ordering access codes, don’t forget to place an order with your campus store before the first day of class. Note: 14-day courtesy access is available to students waiting on financial aid.
